How We Review Supplements

Effective date: October 21, 2026

Every review on Zuzbe follows the same framework so that products can be compared fairly. Here is what we look at.

1. Ingredients and Dosage

  • Are the ingredients clearly listed, including amounts per serving?
  • Are the doses in line with amounts studied in human research?
  • Does the product rely on “proprietary blends” that hide individual ingredient amounts?
  • Are there unnecessary fillers, artificial additives, or common allergens?

2. Scientific Evidence

  • Is there human clinical research on the key ingredients?
  • Was that research done at the dose and form used in the product?
  • How strong is the evidence (large trials versus small or animal studies)?
  • Do marketing claims go beyond what the research supports?

3. Quality and Safety

  • Does the manufacturer follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)?
  • Is there third-party testing (for example, NSF, USP, or Informed Choice), and are certificates available?
  • Are potential side effects, interactions, and warnings clearly communicated?
  • Are there any FDA warning letters or safety recalls related to the brand or product?

4. Transparency and Brand Trust

  • Does the company provide clear contact information and a visible return policy?
  • Are the claims on the label and website realistic and compliant with FDA and FTC rules?
  • Does the brand use fake urgency, unrealistic before-and-after claims, or unverifiable testimonials?

5. Value

  • What is the cost per serving compared with similar products?
  • Does the price reflect the quality and ingredient doses?

6. Customer Experience

  • What do verified customers report about effectiveness, taste, tolerability, and customer service? We treat this as a secondary signal because individual results vary.

How We Score and Rank

Products are evaluated against the criteria above. We explain our reasoning in each review, including the strengths and weaknesses. Our rankings are not influenced by commission rates.

Do We Test Products Ourselves?

[Choose what is true.] We [do / do not] purchase and personally test every product we review. Where we have not tested a product, the review is based on label analysis, published research, and public information, and we state this clearly.

Important Reminder

Supplements affect people differently, and our reviews are not medical advice. Please talk with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement.
